![]() ![]() (Some people even go so far as claiming that outsourced government projects are worse than in-house ones.) I skimmed over the issue here: my more precise point is that government entities generally aren't good at building things when they outsource the actual building, either. ![]() I wouldn't expect EU government employees to work directly on FF, but rather for it to be contracted out to some EU company or companies. At first I thought with Manifest V3 uBlock Origins was dead but I'm happy they found a really great way to continue it (I want to test the AdGuard Manifest 3 too).> Government entities aren't any good at building almost anything, but that's why they contract work out to private companies. Overall I'm very impressive with the results and I will matain it as the only Ad Blocker installed/enabled on Desktop browsers. I hope that get better and better in the future. It is still in experimental phase so it still lacks some UI options and display. maybe it is more useful for these that create the list itself but not for common users like me). You can't create customs lists or select elements via inspectors to add to the block (never used. The block lists are updated when the app update (for me it is a not a issue if the app updates become regular that are in their goal) ![]() The things that didn't bother me but I can see people not liking: yes you can have both extensions installed and enable/disable whateve you wish). I saw no difference between the page with uBO and uBOL (tested a lot of sites with a lot of ads. in uBOL they just sent the list of blocks to the Chromium engine and it will do the job while rendering the page. It seems to loads pages faster (I have to go look in the community if I was crazy but no it is really intended to run faster because there is no more extension process doing the job like uBO. The UI is very easy to use (uBO should revise it arcaic UI to be more like uBOL) The Opera Ad Blocker is so bad that I used uBlock Origins but a few days ago for curiosity I started to use the Lite version based in Manifest V3 because from the release notes the funcionalities I use are all there (I'm not a uBO useer that create it own set of rules).īeing honest it surparsed my expectations. ![]() With all the controvese about Manifest V3 I choose to migrate to uBlock Origins Lite on Opera. ![]()
